Today we had a baby shower at my home for this lovely friend of mine, Jack. She is due with her second child in October and I couldn't think of a better way to spend the day than celebrating life. New life, my life, American life. Of course we remembered what happened on this day, the people who lost their lives were in our thoughts...but this was a celebration of what those terrible people who tried to destroy us could never destroy....our way of life.
