I decided that since I am no baker and running a retail store doesn't give me a lot of free time during Christmas I would copy (again) my friend,
Mrs Furious, who made these for some awesome gifts. Dipped
Oreo's can't go wrong with that...
Ummmm, we might have done more licking than actual dipping but it was super fun to just hang
with the kids after dinner...
Chantz and Olivia with their creations.
Of course I can't do even a project like this properly and my sister told me to add shortening to get the chocolate to harden up...well, I didn't add enough and it took some time (in the freezer) to get them solid. Oops!

The finished product, I guess we're no competition
A Dozen Eggs!!
heehee!

Flannel. On Christmas morning....this was the only gift she needed!

Ohmygoodness -- those look deeeelicious!
Hmmmm, that cat reminds me of someone...but who? ;)
You are an awesome aunt. Looks like lots of fun and flavor. Might have to try that one once I burn off what I ate over the holidays.
Good to hear from you again.
My bad... if you're using regular chocolate and not white chocolate your sister is right you need a little fat mixed in.
Looks like you all had a great time. And they're always good going down ;)
OMG! I am sooooo doing this!
Come and see who won!
seriously - where did your cat get those eyes? they are AMAZING!
yummy yummy treats - what a fun aunt you are!
Logzie....YOU CHANGED YOUR HAIR COLOR!!! WOW!! You look awesome!!!
RC, I wasn't sure how it would go, but they are super creative kids and always up for anything!!! We had a great holiday and I'm glad to see you are back...I'm on my way to check in on you!!
Kenady, LTY my friend!!
Haley, I think that was one of the things that struck me was your...I don't know what people call them, but the likeness to the pic you use!!! I wonder if Flannelw ould let me put a pink wig on her???
Jenelle, You know I have way too much to burn off, but I am determined...we had fun making them anyway!!!
Mrs. F, I was afraid to put too much shortening in, I should have been a little more bold!!! But, oh, they were good going down...it didn't matter that the chocolate was a little gooey. Hope you are feeling better...a little at least since your mom came in to town!!!
Mrs, I can't believe I won, but I have to give credit for the cute saying to my friend and fellow blogger, Kuckie...she coined the phrase!!
Kate, That cat is so darn cute, Ken and I are kind of crazy about her!!
Yum, the cookies look delicious. Here's another awesome, and easy cookie/candy recipe: Sandwich peanut butter in two Ritz crackers, dip in milk chocolate and roll the edges in chopped peanuts. So good. I used to buy these at a candy shop in Copley Place. (shop is gone so I have to make these myself!)
Flannel is gorgeous, as usual, and the kids look like they had a fab time!!
